We are pleased to announce that the new website is finally up and running! Please take a moment to look at it and fill out the survey. We are anxious to get your feedback.
Thanks for your time,
Carla

Perhaps I add the link, it may be easier to click than copying it:
http://aidainternational.org/

And this is the old website:
http://aida-international.org/

Will AIDA International manage to get the ownership of the old domain too, or will it stay under Bill Stromberg's authority forever? I am afraid it will cause quite a bit confusion if both websites remain active. Or is already everything under the management of the new IT officer, and the old domain will be redirected to the new website as soon as it is verified and tested that it runs stable?

I like the new site. Did some requirements like AIDA * change? (no depth on new site)

finally a new site ! Much better then the previous one.
I hope aida takes the old site off line because when someone looks up aida international and finds two totally different sites (ok "same" content but they don't look similar) it can be quiet confusing...

Thnks guys for your excellent feedback!

For Trux:

We will try to ask Bill to give that old address in Aida´s administration although he owns that address personally so we can only ask him kindly. Jonas is running this task currently.

Best rgds,

I guess old site must be as it is, link to the new site must be add at front page and vice a versa.

I managed to log in to the new site with IE only, Firefox doesn't supported.

I very dislike privacy situation at the new site. Any people from outside world can see all information and activities of users at the site and facebook.

Does anyone know why I've been waiting almost a year for any of my cards?
I'm waiting on 2, 3, 4 star cards????? when will I get my cards? i have no evidence of qualifications...

We have been working on a new system and I hope to be able to make an announcement on the completion very soon. I will let you know as soon as I have the information from the education committee.

AIDA can only put on the calendar the competitions that were announced to them. But I often have in my calendar competitions before they are announced to AIDA. Some organizers wait till they are sure about judges, competition type, pool, date and other conditions, and announce it to AIDA only then. In contrary, I do not care about those details, and am adding competitions as soon as I hear some rumours, and editing the APNEA.cz calendar when I see something changed.

I believe that organizers are only required to "officially" announce a competition to Aida 2 weeks prior to the actual date ,and as Trux says, we do not add it to the calendar until that announcement. Maybe we need to have a "pending" section for competitions that are in the planning stages but not yet confirmed ?
