Hi folks,

In case you guys have not seen this yet, here is a photo of the new C4 Mustang 3 blades that was recently released on the Facebook page of C4.

According to C4, the price of this new model will be the same as the price of the Mustang VGR. The Mustang VGR will remain on the catalogue... this new Mustang 3 is an additional model.

The differences between VGR and Mustang 3 are:

- different shape;
- length increase up to 842 mm;
- reinforced flap;
- double-parabolic curvature under water.

According to C4, the double-parabolic curvature increase the performance under water. This curvature optimize the foot-movement making the swimming more fluid in comparison to Mustang VGR.

Cheers,
Claudio

The C4 site lists the VGR Mustang having a blade length of 823mm, the Mustang 3 would be 842mm according to C4, and the US rep for C4 lists the length of the 81 VGR blades as 920mm.

Is it my eyes or is the flap on the these new models slightly curved backwards? It's probably what they mean by "double parabolic curvature"... interesting.

That's what I like about C4... they put a lot of work in testing new improvements and evolving their products.

Cheers,
Claudio

do you know if this blade is 25,30,40 hardness or similar to the 81's just trying to work out where in the range they fit in thats all.

good lucking fin and nice to see they are rounding of the flap section a bit compared to the older mustangs.

C4 just confirmed to me that these will be offered in the 3 usual hardness levels: 25, 30 and 40.
