Hello Friends!
I have not visited the site lately as I am in the Calamian Islands southwest of the Philippines where I have been helping a friend set up a dive shop. It is the Aquahabitat Divesafari, located at Coron Town, Palawan. The place was damaged by Typhoon Yolanda / Typhoon Haiyan last November. The Super Typhoon blew the front porch roof away and damaged part of the front of the building. This of course delayed our operations by a couple of months and repairs are still ongoing.
However, I am happy to announce that most of our equipment are on site and we are now capable of handling divers to visit the World War II wrecks that have made Coron famous as a diving destination. We can also arrange island-hopping tours as we have access to the boats of the village where our diveshop is located. Our website is still under construction but I will be happy to entertain emails (jonetm2000@yahoo.com) and messages here at Deeper Blue.
Best regards and safe diving to all.
