Amazing! I would have loved to been there, what a chance for the scientists to study the creation of reefs and and the inhabiting of the island by sea and other life. Check out the photos of the floating pumice:

Thanks for the additional link with more photos - the sea of the floating stones (pumice) is absolutely fabulous and look unreal like from another planet!

That's incredible, waves of stones and a brand new island.

I just read about a sinking island last week, the people had to leave it.
