Greetings DB'ers,
There's a new DVD out (available via wetsand.com in their store) titled
"Shark Park, The Heaviest Wave in California". This film is primarily about
tow surfing; but there is an amazing short video included of a freediver
swimming OUTSIDE the cage in South Africa with a very large Great White
Shark. The diver is at one point, hitching a ride on the GW's dorsal fin! The video is IMHO really spectacular along with the sound track. The videographer is Greg Huglin (towsurfer.com). He shot the video from a cage. If you get a
chance to view this video, do it. It's incredible on a large plasma screen with
a good surround sound system.
Here's some details:
Bonus Short: "Shark Alley" Freediver vs. 20' Great White Shark in South Africa. Produced and Directed By: Greg Huglin Co-Produced and Edited By: Peck Euwer
P.S. I purchased a "Saver" design t-shirt (sleeveless); it's killer. I wish there
were more color options other than white though. Buy a "Saver" shirt, support
Deeper Blue!
I hope everyone in the DB Forum has a great diving season whereever you are
in the world.
