Its great to see a freediving from Malaysia being on here. Where do you dive most of the time?
I travel to KL quite a bit every year (married to a Malaysian ), looking for some good dive spots around the country

I have only been to KL and Penang. I haven't dived at all in Malaysia. All my visits have been to see family, but hoping to go there longer.

You've mentioned some interesting places - whats the vis like and conditions like there?

Bring yr gears next time! Visibility is depends. It's super nice in sabah/borneo area.
Sipadan- was great, school of jack, vis up to 30m, current a bit strong, depends on the dive sites. Sipadan is famous with the wall diving. Ahhh too much to write. Haha. Just let me know what kind of diving u looking fr in Malaysia

Hey, im new to this freediving so yeah,i've only been to Perhentian Island and Payar Island near to the Langkawi Island.Married to a malaysian wow haha. where are you from @Manny_OCF ? i would suggest you Sipadan Island, Mabul Island and Perhentian Island. most malaysians recommend these islands.

do you have any suggestion on where should i go freediving in bali? and i usually go for a snorkelling trip so most of the time i would rush my dives because of the time contraints.do you have any suggestion on how to plan a freediving trip to bali?

Which part of bali u dive before?
I did my aida 3 & 4 in amed bali. Amed is one of the best place for freediving. Just shore dive. U dont need a boat. Just swim out 30-40m u can get a good depth. Marine life was awesome too. But to get to amed, its like 3 hours from the airport. You can use my supir too if u want.
Instead of amed, u can go to nusa lembongan or ceningan. And also nusa penida. Do research about this place, but nusa penida the ocean is a bit rough. Current might be strong, but if you're looking for a drift dive, that would be fun. And the depth there is quite deep. I did my fun dive and the corals all was at 18-20m. Haha. But the marine biodiversity was super nice. Visibility was super cool like 20m. Anyway, i'm staying in putrajaya. Come over if you wanna have lunch/dinner or lepak session.
