Hello, I am new to the group and the sport. I have a growing interest in spearfishing and freediving. Moved to Western Samoa about a month ago. If there is any other the belongs to deeperblue and you live in Samoa, give me a yell. I would like very much to met up with others and learn.

Welcome to the forums! Feel free to browse & ask questions. Also have a look at the 'Find a Buddy and Places to Dive' subforums, you have a pretty good chance of finding someone.

Good luck mate :)

Hey, I'm heading to Upolu tomorrow from nz for 10days or so. Will be bring my speargun, as general consensus online is that it's worth it. Has anyone got any locations or tips they could share with me for beach dives spots as can't really afford boat trip. I am a newbie to the sport and have no weights yet so nothing too deep. Any info would be great. Thanks Guy.
