Hey guys, Im totally new for this sport, i always want to do scuba diving and im just loving it being in under the water.

I am 29 years old from Hong Kong but i live in Germany since almost 3 years now, and i will stay here for good! Since i didnt have a place to settle down thats why i never really get a chance to start to seriously learn about diving. But now, im here and i found some great organization which i will join there membership in Sept and start learning(they are not here over the summer). I am very good with water since i was kid, got some training back then, i wont say im a fast professional swimmer, but im a good swimmer. Freediving is def my thing too! my teacher used to say i have a big lung! :p

I do a lot of workout and fitness thing ,trying to keep my fitness level at a certain point. Exploring, stay healthy are my passion.

Hoping to meet more people with passion on this Forum, make some friends , sharing experiences and maybe have a trip together.

It would be amazing, i do look forward to meet you all and please do not hesitate to write me.

Thanks a lot and happy diving!

Wilkommen, and hope you make friends here, and get more information that helps on your path.
what kind of courses and certification are they offering?, AIDA, SSI, CMAS, or other thing?

What is the name of the organisation. It is important you learn safely.

Take a look at our Beginners Guide before you take a course: https://www.deeperblue.com/beginners-guide-freediving/

They are the TSG Oceanic.de , official member of the German diving sport organisation in our region. (Not sure if I translated it correctly) Tauchsport Landverband Schleswig-Holstein e.V.

I guess they are very official. Should be safe. Like I will be join their membership and go to the training every weekend, 1 he every time. Learn different thing step by step. They told me it will take minimum 6 months to get ready for the exam.

Lot of scuba diving centers started offering free-diving courses, but many of them don't follow a world certification program for free-diving.
If it's for recreational purpose, then i guess it's fine, but if you're serious about freediving, you should make sure their courses are following some world renowned certification,

After digging i litte, i found that their program is VDST and is aknowledged by CMAS germany.
