New gun cornwall

I have been spearfishing a couple of years using a surf suit and cheapy Beuchat speargun.
I have got a bit of spare money, so am looking to treat myself and upgrade both and would appreciate suggestions for a new gun for using in Cornwall (south coast mainly) Will be mostly open water fishing for bass, mullet etc in (hopefully!) fairly clear water, so I think probably a 90, but what model and where is best to get it from?
