it was a bit windy & with a viz of 2-3 m
but i manage to surprise some fish:t

the new gun is OMER XXV_GOLD CARBON 90 with open muzzle
light fast excellent gun !!

Did you try the reel? (I'm interested in this reel performance to make my choice between XXV and XXV gold).

go for the gold
the difference is also with the rail , U dont get rail with the gun ( important i think)
i used 10 m of line or so to the fish 30 sec & he got the spear to the head

special great thanks to spaghetti who helpped me in choosing the gun

i have been to the Sockeye festival:friday

north America got Hugh interesting native culture !!

The OMER Match reels (if you are asking about them) are very good! I recently bought the Match 30 and I'm very happy with it. There is this cool feature that allows you to lock the line like in a crocodile's mouth and have the friction screw completely open so if you hit a big fish you do not have to release the friction and loose precious seconds. I highly recommend it!
