Hey guys. I'm new to spearfishing and have used a JBL super carbine, was a free gun and it's ok but i'm looking to take spearfishing a lot more serious and want to know what guns would be good. I was looking at the Omer Line and didnt really know much about guns in particular. I will be scuba diving while hunting 80% of the time so I didnt really want a wood gun. The Excalibur 2000 seemed like an in-expensive gun and had really good reviews. I like the concept of having to 16 bands instead of 1. I will be diving usually 0-60 ft. reef diving. What do you guys think? Thanks for your imput in advance...

My parents are in Bradenton/Sarasota. I try to get there once a year. I was there twice this year.
