Hi everyone out there love the site lots of good useful info. I have a question I am newly scuba cert(6 months) i have been freediving for a couple of years nothing realy deep 25ft max. I am going to go scuba diving at ginne springs and I was wanting to try out some of the technecs that I have been practicing in the pool. I know that you should not freedive after you scuba dive but how about BEFORE I go scuba diving is this a no no also and if so is there a reason why . thanks for any help on this ?

Mixing the two is basicly a bad idea. However, Ginnies open water is not very deep. If you are not freediving deep or long and are not pushing the edge of the decompression tables when on scuba, freediving before scuba isn't likely to be a problem. After is bad, period.

Have a good time, Ginnie is beautiful.

thanks for the info Connor. So basicly when I freedive I take on nitrogen in the blood just like scuba in a smaller form this is why not to push the dive tables? Thanks again
