Hello everyone,
I live in Barcelona, Spain and I'm a keen swimmer and snorkeller and love to dive under water, unaided by oxygen bottles. I'd like to find any snorkeller/diving buddies to go to the beach or go on snorkelling/diving trips on the Catalonia coast, there're some impressive underwater spots around here. I've never done free diving, so I'm a real beginner. I also would like to know if there's any free diving schools or courses in Barcelona, or the Catalan area.
Cheers!
Jordi

Bon dia Jordi

Abans he teneu una casa a l'Escala - i he estat a Barcelona durant six anys... meu catalan esta mol mal - pero mi castellano no esta tan mal - :) bienvenido!

I learnt to scuba dive in L'Escala, and had a house up there for three years. I love Spain, living in Barcelona was fantastic. :)

There are quite a few people here from Spain, and Adrian lives up near L'Escala and freedives often.

thank you, corpora, I'll do, still finding my way through this site...

Bon dia, your Catalan is not bad! Thank you very much for your message. Sometimes I go snorkelling to Sa Tuna, in Begur, not far from l'Escala, do you know it? The water there is really clean and there's lots of caves and marine life. I'll contact Adrian, see if we can organise something.
Thank you very much,
Jordi
