Anyone seen or tried the new Hollis M-1 mask?

Looks splendid! I don't know how well it is curved and how it will perfom at greater depths.

Hollis Gear: M-1 Mask

This mask looks nasty, i do hope someone can try it out and give us some more information about how it performs.

GOT 1!

very nice mask, massive vision and no frame so sits very close to the eye, quite low volume considering the maskm size, makes for a good spearing mask (accept i need prescription lenses so not so good) uses a special glass which gives pure colour perception unlike other masks on the market.

if yoiu want it for spearing or recreational freediving it is perfect, not so good for DEEP diving but not bad, anything less than 40m and its sweet..

big thumbs up from me!

How tight is it on the forehead/tip of the nose?
And how much does it "compress" to the face while diving (no EQ) ?

Woohoo!

My wife bought me one yesterday as an early birthday present!

Mask compresses really well (resulting in a greasy stain from my forehead on the middle of the glass) and has a VERY wide vision. Only 'tested' it dry.
The strap is very comfortable as well. Small nose pocket and seems a bit harder to equalize for mask squeeze (no preformed air canals for compensating squeeze from the nose pocket).

Going to take it scubadiving tomorrow and freediving day after tomorrow.

Another advantage (for vain people like me): Your face will stay recognisable (unlike my Minima 'Venetian' mask). Great for pictures...

Can't tell you what it costs, that's the thing with presents...
