I just bought a Aqua Shere Sphera mask and was wondering if I should do anything special to the lens before I first dive with it. I was worried that tooth paste, or even shampoo, might scratch the plastic lens. Does the antifog coating work well enough not to do anything? Anybody have any advice to treat the mask before I use it? Thanks for your help.

Certainly don't use toothpaste on the plastic lenses. I found that with my mask all i need to do is give it a good rub with spit and a quick dunk before I dive. Sometimes this has to be repeated if you take of the mask and get it wet, you want to keep a good coating on it. Just be careful there's no sand on the mask when you do this, as you, like I, could find you are rubbing scratches into the lens.
