Just wanted to say hello. Im new here. I live down in the US Virgin Islands and am currently living on the island of St. Thomas. I do a lot of freediving. Most of my diving has been for lobster and crab, but recently I have been getting into deep diving. I just received my first set of free diving fins/mask/snorkel. I bought the omersub alien mask (low profile mask) w/snorkel and I also purchased the omersub millenium competition fins. So we will see how these work for me. I currently have a static breath hold of 4:01 and have yet to play with lung packing.

Glad to have you! Great choice of gear - I recently purchased the Omer Alien myself, and it's fabulous. Have fun, browse the threads, post questions, and enjoy yourself here at DB :).

Hi, it must be a dream to live in St Thomas.
Do you ever encounter big fish whilst collecting lobsters?

No, I don't run into any big fish to often. An occasional nurse shark maybe.

Yeah, I have a jbl magnum xhd that i use while scuba diving. I have yet to try spearfishing while free diving.
