I have dived for thirty odd years and only took up spearing again yesterday after a ten or so year lay off
I am also a pretty serious fisherman chasing most tropical and subtropical species
Living in Central Queensland gives me a huge part of the year to hit the shallow waters without a wetty and the close proximity to the reef makes it even better
