Hi out there.
My name is Rick Wahrenbrock and I am an old (61) retired L.A. Fireman. My pal Bill Ernst and I went on the job back in 1970 together and have been friends ever since. I thought I would sign up to see what all this is about and to tell all about Bill and I and the world record WSB he got. We just did a spot with Huell Howser on KCET about Bill and the fish along with the Hubbs Institute in San Diego (they age dated the fish with the ear bone). The progam will air again on November 26th on KCET - -PBS.
The biggest WSB I have ever gotten was 60 pounds :) Bill's is 93 !!

Welcome to the board! I look forward to the "war stories".

That sounds like the sort of story we all enjoy on db welcome on board.

I have learned a lot about WSB in the last year after Bill Ernst shot the record fish here off Leo. The next TV show on KCET is Nov. 26th at 7:30 - - enjoy :)
