New one stop shop in the USA

Hey cool stuff! I like the floats and accessories especially. Haven't checked the postage costs yet tho. Magpie do not click on that link! You'll never be able to afford that multi storey car park in your garden!

p.s. this made me chuckle:
Mako Aquatic camo gun tapes allows you to match your surroundings when stalking weary fish. Same color and pattern as the Mako Aquatic Camo Wetsuit Shirts, 1 piece wetsuits, 2 piece wetsuits, gloves and hoods. - More Info
Price: $13.95

I wish I could come across weary bass, rather than wary ones! I've never been able to get hold of this tape before.

Nice shop and new staff very clever like the Mechanical Puncture Stringer
and the Lamp that can be attached to your wrilst but I'm not sure about the power maybe is a bit too small.
Anyway it's quite cheap.

I am really impressed with the site.

I really like the fact that everything seems to be very efficient – from the gear choice to the descriptions and information available. No gimmicks and lots of practical advice. Clear wording and no ambiguity as what is included.

On many other sites, there are loads of manuals, data sheets, and yet you can struggle to find some basic info. Not to mention that most sites rarely have practical expert explanations.

Well done.

Great looking site. The handles look like Rabitech Apex. The blurb says Daniel Hu/Ho has resellers around the world in specified locations - I wonder who they are (perhaps using other labels)?

I like the above site, the prices look pretty good and love the humerous but no-nonsense attitude. The ebay auctions for charity is commendable too.

Unfortunately they can't sell the railguns abroad, and they are larger sizes only.

There has been a very harsh discussion in a US forum about Mako spearguns.
They're basically Chinese made identical clones of the Rabitech Stealth and Apex. As far as I understand from the discussion on Spearboard (that was finally closed by SB mods after the usual swearing, name calling and "calling you out" stuff), the Mako guys haven't done any fraud: they got the guns from a chinese manufacturer who is now in the legitimate ownership of the old Rabitech molds and designs.
Chinese low cost of labour (plus the other "advantages" given from producing in China)and Mako's assertive price policy (which is normal for any start up company), made them possible to sell the guns much cheaper than the true Rabitechs.
This is what comes out from reading the american debate.
I posted this just for your information and I'll abstain from any judgement.

Yea SB are quick to judge and rant on the negative side.

The best eg for me is I Posted the exact post on here and their looking for a NYC buddy…BUT

DB gave support and interest and SB made lame gay jokes and 0.3% help. Do not mind if jokes are made at my expense as long as their funny/ witty or deserved.

A lot of the people who did the slagging off came out and apologized when they herd the true story.

There are a lot of similar products to other brands like Hammer Head suits and the RA slip tube but... SAME SAME but different and modified/ improved.

Hey these little quotes are popping up all over the place, pretty flash, shame they dont work

You have to read them on a mobile device too!:t

According to the checkout, they don't sell anything outside the US, as the "Country" dropdown only gives you US! Shame - quick release stringers, mesh bags with a flag socket, latex non-tangle line, a gear geek's dream. Lucky there aren't any in the Guernsey Forum!

Oh good keep us posted Jimy. There might be a few of us over here who could be interested in putting an order together and sharing the postage - as long as no-one orders a load of 4lb weights!

Does anyone have any experience with these guns? How reliable they are, accurate, durable, etc... If they are based of the rabitech then great, the chinese manufacturer part just puts me off a little.

That puts me off a little too. They usually manufacture to a price rather than a quality. The prices also don't look very good for Chinese made goods -- although I seem to recall SA railguns & equipment being particularly expensive in the USA (distance/taxes/importer mark-up?), so perhaps they'll find a market there. Mind you, a lot of stuff is made or partially made in China these days & you wouldn't even realise (my "Italian" Omer Alien mask is marked "made in Taiwan"). I have a neat little "Japanese made" lure box from Hong Kong - good design/quality - but made in Japan? Seems unlikely.

I know that china has a bad rep but that means the designer has to keep on their back a bit more.... This guy threw away about 2000 barrels as their was a SLIGHT problem that one guy pointed out in the trials.

This guy is Well know for being a hard core anal prefectionist. So im sure china are doing a good job.

yeah ive been trying to read up on Mako and it seems like he has gone above and beyond to to please many customers. There is a thread and some posts by him too over at spearoboard. Im seriously considering getting one of the guns, the predator pro 100, instead of a hammerhead due to cost. I just wish I could find some more reviews on the guns themselves along with the good customer service and price reviews.
