New one stop shop in the USA

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Every review I have herd is good but they were all from the ginypigs via one or two!! Tho they do not get paid or any perks and all seem honest.

I have spoke to him a little on the phone and he is a good bloke. Going to go down hopefully in the next couple of weeks and have a looksie at the shop. Just waiting for a dive job in DC

Actually a few of the part...like the handle are made buy the same guy that does the Rabi tec

But you cant deny brand hype pricing. Yeah Rolex makes a nice watch but do you think you wouldnt be able to find something comparable in quality at $1000 vs $3500??

Hey Guys,

It is me, Dano, with Mako Spearguns. I just made a post introducing MAKO Spearguns to Deeper Blue. Additionally, I want to thank all you guys on Deeper Blue that have taken the time to get to know us. For that I am deeply grateful.

You're welcome here, Dano. I've replied to your introduction. Nice to have you on board.

just got my 120 predator pro and can't wait to get it in the water. as far as quality, it seems high and the handle appears exactly the same as the rabitech guns. like dano said on his website and post, they are the same guns that rabitech sells, made in china by he same people who make the rabitech guns, just with a mako label on them.
i'm sold, great service over the phone, a great product and an ethical attitude towards the sport and business.

I went up and seen Dano in person, he is the nicest guy I have ever met in the spearfishing community. I purchased the 80 CM from him and he built and rigged the gun in front of me. When I say built I mean he cut the barrel and assembled the trigger mech and muzzle, built the bands from scratch and assembled it w/ a real. All to my specs, even the band length and diameter. He also donated some spare parts and flasher tape to me. I have not yet had a chance to shoot the gun But I will be in the pool for our spear club in 2 weeks and I will get to try it then.
I have to restate that Dano is a top notch guy as well as a superb salesman. he is very knowledgable about spearing and is great to talk to. While I was there I watched him bend over backwards to fullfill an overnight order. I have never seen customer service like this before. Dano, keep up the good work and I will send people your way any chance I get.

I recieved my Predator 90 yesterday and it is beautiful. Dano rigged it with a reel and closed muzzle. I bought the 50 foot float line, rubber weight belt, and D ring. Dano threw in a game clip, hat and open muzzle. Everything was high quality. I will be taking it up to Mendo in a couple of weeks to test it out.

I had some questions when my gear arrived so I sent Dano an email. He sent me his cell number and told me to call. He stayed on the phone with me at his closing time and walked me through everything.

The quality and service have made a customer of me.

Hey Guys,
Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. I also want to send out thanks Yakfisher, Liberte and Underwatersnipe. I am glad you guys like your guns. I hope you enjoy hunting with them as much as I enjoyed building them for you guys. I was lucky enough to meet Underwatersnipe because he came by my shop. (cool guy!) I hope to meet Yakfisher and Liberte one day and maybe do some hunting together.

I would like to add that "Our guns are NOT made in China".

I see there was some posts that indicated we moved the manufacturing to China. We did not! Mako and Rabitech guns continue to be produced by the same factory that has produced these high quality guns since their entry into the market.

The relationship between Mako, Rabitech and the manufacturer has reduced production costs resulting in lower costs to you, the spearo.

In closing, I want to again thank you guys for your support. The courtesy you have all afforded me here on DeeperBlue is greatly appreciated.

dive safe,
dano

Thanks for pointing that out Dano, I do think there was a little confusion but your guns sound like fantastic value now that has been put straight.

Hey Foxfish,
Thank you and thanks to the good people on DeeperBlue for giving me the opportunity to clarify things.

take care,
dano

Hey Dano! This is Al in Texas. Love your stuff. When do you think the blue camo wetsuits will be back in?

Is this Al from Seguin, Tx? How are you? It is great to hear from you. I am still working on the blue camo suits. I wish I could give to you a date certain but I am just not sure. I know Mike at Florida Freedivers has a good inventory on blue/green Omer suits. I hate to loose your business on the suit, but if you need something right away, they looked like nice suits.

It was great hearing from you.

I figured I would give a quick update since I shot it last night at our club meeting. This thing shoots like a laser, Its quick and has tons of power. Its an absolute joy to shoot and extremely accurate. My first shot was from about 10' away and the RA shaft blasted through the crab bouy and over half way down the shaft.
I let a guy using an AB biller shoot it and the "range official" who was controling the shooting in the pool said you could see his eyes light up when he pulled the trigger. When he surfaced his first words were "I'm Sold". I can't wait for some bigger fish to move into the bay and of course the wind needs to stop blowing..

Hey Underwatersnipe,
Thanks for the positive feedback on your new Mako Railgun, but you did not give yourself any credit. I heard you were a darn good spearo.

I just got my board shorts and rash guard shirt (plus a new hat) and they're great. Youngest daughter said "You look cool Dad" rather than the usual "You're not going out in public like that" or Dad, that's sooo 70's".

I appreciate the approval and once again Mako comes through. :inlove

Hey Al,
How are you? It is great to hear from you. I am glad you like the boardshorts, rashguard and hat. That is so funny about your daughter. My daughter is the exact same way! My daughter would not let me get out of my truck one day until I untucked my shirt. Then, one day I made the mistake of using the word, "awesome" and she dogged me for a week. I will never say that word in front of her again. It is so cool though to watch them grow up. The fact that your daughter feels comfortable enough with you to get on your case certainly means that you have a great relationship with her. Not to get too deep here but I remember my dad never hugged and kissed my sisters. The thought of telling them that he loved them was non existent. I know it was much different back then, but what did they do? Each one married the first guy that showed them any affection. I know it is not the same type of affection that we are talking about, but you obviously know what I am talking about. Having a daughter is great. I am very happy for you. Anyway, I am sorry to ramble on. I guess it is to be expected.

dive safe,
dano
