I'm in San Diego, so calico bass, wsb, yt, halibut, and sheepshead mainly. I basically wanted a "do it all gun." The track is milled to be able to take a 5/16 when going for larger stuff/bluewater, but right now it's a 9/32. I can't imagine needing much more; the fish I shot yesterday were at a decent range and the shaft went completely through each of them. The exact specs are: 55", 63" shaft, three 5/8 bands, and 47" of band pull.:martial

Well it looks brilliant. Did you do it all yourself, or is there a custom manufacturer in your area? I only ask because i will be travelling alot next year, and if i head over to the US of A then i would love to bring back a woodie, and this one looks magnificent!

I would look forward to you posting some pics of your catches!!!

Thanks.

I wish I had the machinery and skills to make my own like this It was made by Steve Veros ( Poseidonsub.com ) up in Northern California.
