Dear Spearos,

We now have a “Recoil Stabilizer” for our MAKO “Rapid on/off Camera Bracket”.

Although the Go Pro underwater camera housing is an awesome product, apparently the knob screw cannot always be tightened sufficiently to accommodate for guns with excessive gun recoil.

During such recoil, the camera tends to tilt forward and downward after the shot. So, we now offer this optional “Recoil Stabilizer” to keep the camera positioned properly. As pictured below, it provides a backstop that is secured by a zip tie. This simple yet highly effective solution is compatible with all of our camera brackets.

Available in two sizes:

  • For standard Go Pro housing
  • For deep well Go Pro housing (LCD or Bat Pac Back Door)
