New Regs: Apeks TX100

well I've landed another teaching gig overseas so i figure my twin DS4 DINs and an 8 footer just isn't ideal for basic scuba instruction. So I just bought new regs in a A-clamp/yoke format.

Apeks TX100 1st stage
Apeks TX100 2nd stage
Apeks TX40 Octo.

hunting for a Halcyon SPG to throw on it, if I can;t find one I'll just steal the Scuba pro off my other kit.

new gear always gets me excited :D

Nice little set up there, you really don’t need an excuse to buy shiny new kit :p, yes and your regular kit may have confused the newbie’s, all that hose may just put them off. Good luck with the gig.

you're going to teach basic scuba wearing twins?

nope, that's why I picked up the new regs, for the AL80's I'll be using over the summer...

so, been beating the hell out of these regs for the last few weeks teaching scuba and doing lots of after work dives. the hose routing is nice and it seems to be very high quality kit. I was orfinally a little disapointed in the breathing effort of the TX100 primary. but from what I understand that maybe just mine. a bit of tuning and it seems to have improved. great bit of kit for the price.
