Hi folks,

An interesting new offering from Seatec... they have developed a new line of Roller guns. The series mini-roller will be offered in sizes 50 and 60cm and will be fitted with a standard roller muzzle. The series Roller will be offered with a ball-bearing roller muzzle and will come in 80, 90, 100, 110cm sizes.

You can check out the gun of their site: ROLLER...izziamoci

Spaghetti, what's up with all of the apparent roller gun resurgence in Italy?

Cheers,
Claudio

They certainly seem to be gaining popularity!
I think these modern designs are fantastic & I bet they are super smooth to shoot?

Hi Fox,

I have to say, I've never shot a roller, but I am definitely interested in trying one out with all of the chatter about them out there.

An inexpensive tube rollergun may be a good option for a hole/dirty water gun for both England and my Rhode Island areas. Though if the prices are too close to those of the Airbalete, I would rather get one of those instead.

Cheers,
Claudio

Roller guns make a lot of sense to me; lots of power in a short maneuverable gun. I'm glad the beuchat marlin revolution has some competition now that seatec has a line of rollerguns. I'm definitely going to buy myself one someday... thanks for posting the good news!

It hasn't been clearly specified that they're actually two different models: the Roller and the Miniroller.
The Roller is basically a Snake/Gabbiano with a roller muzzle and set up. The Mini-Roller, in shorter sizes, has the roller kit mounted on the Airone gun (the entry level Seatec gun, but still a good gun).

They certainly seem to be gaining popularity!

The Seatec trigger mounted on their Roller is excellent. Super strong and super smooth. I haven't tried the trigger mounted on the smaller Mini-Roller (that is a different one), but the mech on the longer Seatec Roller is the same as in The Snake and Gabbiano: one of the best triggers I've ever shot.

Here's some pics of it for your curiosity.

Hello, i just get 2 minirollers, the 60 and the 75.

They are powerfull, the 60 will be my friend for hunt near the rocks, but the 75 is useless for me, too much power for the use i have of short spearguns.

If you can try this spearguns do it, you will be surprised by the power on so light gun, with the roller there aren't recoil so aluminium work good, don't need wood for this setup.

I posted some picture of minirollers and my other guns here : http://forums.deeperblue.com/introductions-greets/87772-hello-corsica.html
