I personally dont shoot wong guns, I make my own, but I have always been a big fan of his products and especially his customer service. I think all other companies need to model off of Dr. Wongs attention to detail and customer service. That being said, Daryl Wong has his own line of shark fin shafts available.

The prices are very affordable and their quality is awesome.

Spears are induction hardened and drawn from ultra high tensile spring steel hardened to over 2000MPa or 51 Rockwell. If you compare a 45 Rockwell spear tip to a 50 Rockwell spear it is not just 10% harder but potentially 20% harder and tougher.
Barbs are marine grade stainless steel and are designed to lock open after penetrating through a fish. You don't have to tune the barb it is already perfect.
The coating is called an "Armadillo coating." This coating has so far been in a salt spray testing trough at 35 degrees C for 3 months and still the spears have not started to rust. This is equivalent to 12 months continuous use by a spearo.
Spears are mechanically straightened to a maximum tolerance of 5 thousands of an inch/3 feet.
Maintaining of shaft:
A. Remove Shaft from trigger.
B. Wash shaft with fresh water and lay in sun to dry quickly.
C. Make sure that the trigger and all spear contact spots on the gun are dry before reinserting the spear
D. Spray with Light Lubricant before storing for any length of time.

I have placed a few orders from Daryl and both times received my shafts the next day!.. granted Im only an island away.

Just thought I would share, if you are in Hawaii, or on the west coast, even the east coast, I would highly recommend checking his shafts out. You can see his website here... Gun Components - Shafts - Wongspearguns.com

wow! 38$ for a spear! thats awesome! i have been using riffe spears. i actually have a wong spear in one of my guns and it is nicer than the riffe spears. its just a little better craftmanship, and it shows. and riffe is double that price! thanks for sharing jake!

When I talked to him recently, the only threaded shafts he had were in 8 mm, but he has some 7 and 7.5 mm threaded coming in the next shipment, and I want to get them in 55" and 60".

Of course if you want floppers, he has those now.
