Hello folks

Thanks for the great forum - been lurking here for a long time as I slowly build up some very cheap kit! Now looking to go shoot something for dinner.

I know quite a few places on the West coast, but know next to nothing about the East. Looking for some decent dive sites to get started on and maybe a dive buddy.

All the best, Ronnie

How's the diving up there Ronnie? That NE corner is a bit of an unknown for me but I've always associated it with less than great viz, smaller fish but good lobster etc.- how close is that? Any pics / vid of diving in the area?

Not got a cam yet, and to be honest I haven't been getting out very often.

Diving is surprisingly good. Saw a salmon for the first time the other week. Would have had it too, but wasn't packing the gun at the time. Was in quite shallow water moving quietly through the weed and saw it's tail just 5 feet in front of me - had no idea I was there.
