Aloha!
How's it everybody! 30 year old diver just got into spear fishing (kinda late tho) but grew up around family who dives, fish, throw net. I got into the sport to provide and put food on the table. I've been in it for almost a year and I just at wanna check in with my fellow spearos. I look forward to read posts and gaining knowledge from u all. I come here with an open mind and excel as quick as possible to be a better spearo. I just wanna know what is the best advice u can give to a beginner spearo?

Welcome Pitotdiver. I see you are in Hawaii, lucky you There are other forum members in Hawaii. I think we have learnt a few things from them over the years, including the use 2x14mm bands, the use of fish to make art and some interesting ideas for sea-going kayaks.

Thanks. I will be taking a free dive course by the end of the year. I am surrounded by experienced divers who could help me improve my skills. I'm looking forward to chat with u all.
