Hello all. I am in Cairns Australia, and gearing up to go hunt some fish on the reef. I am traveling by sailboat to Darwin over the next couple months.

I just bought a couple very well-used Undersee big woodie guns. I am refurbing them with new bands and varnish. It has been a fun project and learing a lot about how to rig them from the great forums here!

I plan to cut one down from a huge 1700 to maybe 1200 to be more manageable. I'm going to shorten and re-drill the spears. (small budget operation here). Will post some photos of my project here if there is interest.

Cheers
Bruce

Hi Bruce, we have a DIY subforum for speargun builds. It would be the perfect place to post your pics. I know I'd be interested in seeing them.

We love guns around here, post your pics here or even better as batray suggest....
