New toys, Gear reveiw Light, Mask, Knife

last month i got three new pieces of dive gear a mask, Dive Light and a new knife. and i have so far been so satisfied with them that i thought i should let everyone know about the gear.

Mask
AQA (also sold by riffe) Naida

It's a lower volume mask than what i was had before (i was using a mantis) so naturally i find it easier to equalize. it is the most comfortable mask i have ever used, unlike most low volume masks the bridge of my nose is not pushed up against the front of the mask. the skirt doesn't leak at all and as long as the lenses are clean it doesn't fog up at all

Knife
Deep Sea Wenoka Squeeze lock titanium

One word describes this knife... Wow
this is great compact knife. it has two very sharp edges one regular one serrated and a very sharp tip that makes dispatching fish very easy. because the lock is on the knife not the sheath, the knife can be removed from the sheath effortlessly with one hand. my favorite thing about this knife is that when you put the knife back in the sheath there is a loud click that lets you know that it's locked into place. it's titanium so it won't rust. the only downside is that the belt clip on the sheath is to small for my rubber belt but as i wear my knife on my leg i don't really have an issue with it.

Dive light
UK Aqua sun eLED

this light blew away any other light i have tried (UK D8 being the biggest and brightest of the lights i have used) it comes with a rechargeable battery, a charger, a lantern grip and a pistol grip. it takes a while to charge (12 hours) but when it was done it was definitely worth the wait, I managed to see a fish on the bottom of a 25 foot deep Chanel while i was laying on the surface. The lantern grip makes it easy to use a pole spear. the downside is the short battery life. (advertised at 2 hours but i think it lasts a little longer than that) incredible light and i have actually shot fish that i could never hit before i got this light.

if anyone want's more details or has questions feel free to ask me

Aloha- Will
