That,s why....when I come in the house with my equipment, they smell the fish and they always get something,....so they got a little over exited...so did I, afterwards I invented the catstringer

they arrived but i don't have much time to test them. :waterwork

Probably i will give detailed review of those equipment end of next summer.

ps. my cat did not noticed them yet but i think i better to keep her away from suit

When I go spearfishing...
My cat always knows that I shot a small one just for him.
And the day after he always put a dead mouse in front of my door.
Thanks :hmm

hey MURAT, could you please measure the height of the barrel of your Pelagos.
They give the width(42mm) in the Totemsub web site, but not the height.
(I'm trying to compare the Pelagos and the Tahiti's manoeuvrability with my Riffe 3XS)

Great gear I think.

according to catalog hight it 34mm for pelagos.

For tahiti width is 34mm and hight is 40mm.

When you compare the manuverability you should also consider the hydrodynamic shape and material used to make the gun. Mahogany is much lighter than teak, at the and of the day they are all neutral in the water but it affects tracking, balance and overall behaviour of speargun a lot.

thanks for the quick answer

I didn't think about that.
Are all the totem sub guns mahogany?

As for the hydrodynamic shape, it seem as though the Tahiti and Riffe competitor shapes are comparable(but I've only seen the photos).
But the Pelagos does seem easier to manoeuver.

Yes all Totemsub spearguns are mahogany.

If you saw tahiti's videos in totoemsub page, you will notice that bands are perfectly lined, which adds another "+" to traction.

Pelagos and guizzo has better hydrodynamic shape for easier tracking, on the other hand tahiti has more mass to compensate recoil. If you want both easy tracking and recoil absorbtion you should consider Abellan Dento 106 too Accorrding to Victor Abellan (producer) and other users we trust a lot (shane and memo particularly) denton 106 has a very deadly 6m range
