hi, Just set up a new training table for today. plan to run this table once a week untill i feel ready to move up the ladder. Would like to hear your comments and/or additions.
The reason that i do not push to time underwater is because it is for use in a public pool where i do not have BO or samba guard.. Cant find other ways to train freediving, and two times a week simply doesn't cut it for me.

- - -Start- - -

- 100 meter breaststroke. (warm up)

- 5 mins of breathing

- 5 x 10 dolphinkicks underwater with breaks in between.

- 5 mins of breathing

- 5 x 5 breaststrokes underwater with breaks in between

- 100 m of regular bi fin swimming without arms and head above water (high pace.)

- 3 mins of relaxation

- 100 m dolphinkicks with fins. no arms and head above water (high pace)

- 5 mins of breathing

- 10 mins of frenzel training (slow, but short dives, with focus on technique) plenty of rest in between dives.

- 5 mins of breathing

- if I feel for it and the energy is there, i might do a CO2 table.

The end

Hmm, just one addition... if i do the CO2 table, i plan to do it on land as a static event.. possible 3 breaths per hold for 5 holds.? any tips?

Hi henjon,

I may or may not have already met you in one of the clubs, but your user name doesn't really ring a bell, so...

Why don't you come train with us?

HFK - Wednesday and Thursday nights, see www.hfk.dk
USG - Tuesday and Thursday late afternoons, see www.usg.dk ("undervandsaktiviteter", begins early September)

That would make three training days in a row, incl. a double training session on the last day, and trust me, you will need to rest after that! ;-)

Ups, sorry, I see that you that have already joined HFK.

But the suggestion for USG training still stands - it is quite different to HFK, more intensive dynamic training, and we actually have a coach to push us ("GO!-GO!-GO!") and look after us... The two training styles complement each other quite well.

Thanks for the USG link Eva, Yes, we met at the training last wednesday, im a newcomer in HFK:)

The USG course looks pretty good! I will definately have to look into that! Thanks!

See you at the next training session in HFK.

Regards

Henrik
