new watch for static training

After 7 years, my old faithful watch have died. So I am looking for a new one for my static training. Do you know is there are one that can be programmed with training tables???

So far not, as far as I know. At least not a diving watch. There are some programmable PDA watches with Mobile Windows or other similar OS, but it would be cheaper and easier using a cell phone in a waterproof case. I also offered cooperation to AERIS, where I proposed developing an interface to the F.10 computer that could load full training sessions from the Apnea Training Manager. Unfortunately, they were not interested. I will try some other manufacturers, but am little bit afraid that all of them are quite hesitant making too big steps forward, and won't easily accept the idea.

EDIT: the closest may be Mares Icon HD, that already is pretty complex, and could easily include sophisticated applications. The problem is, there is no open API that would allow 3rd party developers to write extensions. The price is also an issue (+$1000)

Another possibility would be Liquivision X1 - I think it has an open API (or at least available to some partners), but first, it is no more sold as freediving watch, and second the price tag is also quite high.

Try an iPhone with the "apnea"app, somewhat configurable, works ok.

If you have an iPhone per say.. : )
