Just thought I'd say hi.
Just moved down from London and 20 minutes away from brighton and shoreham. Been snorkelling with the wife off shoreham beach looking at the small flatties and keen to progress more after talking to a friend who is well into spearfishing. Reading as much as I can and hoping to find a dive buddy locally. Can get out midweek as work shifts in London.
All the best Ash

Hi Ashley,

Also new to spearfishing and looking for dive budddies.

I live in London but its easy enough to get to Brighton, Shoreham etc by train.

I am always up for a dive so just let me know if you are keen?

Gareth

Hi Gareth, yes I'll
Deffo let you know. Still awaiting my long fins from scubastore but still can get about with my normal ones. Just ordered a marker bouy. Though viz is non existent at the moment. But Thursday next week onwards looks like a possability.

Hi Ashley,
Please do keep me updated. It will be good to get in the water as soon as it clears up a bit!

Sometimes scubastore can take a bit of time but its worth it with the prices! I'm still waiting on my belt and a few more weights from them.

Going in tomorrow to see how conditions are Gareth. If good I'll go in all this week. Still not got my suit but it's warm enough for a fee hours with my seal like blubber. Finely got my fins thankfully changed to e greens for no extra cost.

Hi Ashley,
Hope it has cleared up a bit! I would be keen to go in Saturday if you are free and the weather is OK.
Let me know how it goes tomorrow. Glad to hear the kit is coming along. Where about are you going this week?

Yes should be able to get in for abit on Saturday but the wife's not working so she will probable pop along. Rear of hove lagoon looks good if the oil spill isn't an issue. Or shoreham beach. Someone said there was abit of a reef out there but still not found it yet. If I get my knife in time I don't mind having a nose at the peir if I don't crap myself.

Good luck until then!
Super easy for me to get to any of the stations down there so just keep me updated.

Cheers Gareth, caught my first bass this morning, well two actually but one was small but I know now. Viz was ok at first thing this morning but got a little worse. Nearly two meters in places. Loads and loads if bate fish and then some mackerel came in like a tone of tiny submarines. Can pop in for a bit tomorrow morning if you like but have to get back. I can pick you up from shoreham or pulborough if you like but can only do an hour or two.
My number is 07427683775
