Newbie from Christchurch Dorset

Hi chaps, I've recently moved to Christchurch (UK) and am looking forward to diving around there sometime. Am also new to diving (PADI open water last year) but am hoping to do a 'skin-diving' or 'free-diving' course, I just find all the scuba gear a bit of a pain and just want to float about a bit with the odd short skin-dive with my camera (maybe it's an age thing, I'm coming up to 60).

Anyone with any advice please let me know - I look forward to being a member of the community.
