Hallo everyone,

I look forward to being a part of this community.

The last 5 months have been fun with my monofin, which is a Finis Trainer fin, I do suspect that I am needing something else a little wider though.

Regards,
Shane

Site says that there are about 15 of you guys out there watching this, somebody point me in the right direction, please.

For the last month I have developed a painful (very uncomfortable) lump on top of my left foot. It appears to be on the Cuneiform Bone. I swim about 1km or more every weekday and cannot abode the idea of stopping swimming.

Any ideas, I thought of cutting a hole where the pressure is?

welcome to the forum!

i wondered if a doctor might give you better advice than us divers. Whereabouts in the Cape of Good Hope?

i used to own a place in L'Agulhas. I love that area.

I live in Cape Town itself. I was suspecting that the Doctor would be mentioned but still hoping that someone has experienced this as well. Thanks for the reply.

Ok, so here's the problem.

It turns out that the lump is a ganglion protruding from the joint between my cuneiform bone and the first meta tarsal.

Having it removed surgically in a week's time. Too bad, means two weeks out of the water.
