Hi Guys,

Joined up to learn the ropes on the recommendation of Dave from the BSA forum.

Cheers

Welcome to Deeper Blue mate, that’s a hell of a drive down from Yorkshire, good on you and 10 out of 10 for effort.

Indeed it is. No diving closer to home? I hear the fishing (at least with rods) is v. good round Flamborough Head.

Welcome from Texas! Watch out for this "jolly old" E crowd. Heard they'd give Long John Silver a run fer his money. Really you've fallen in with a great bunch.

Hi everyone, thanks very much for the warm welcome.

Only done scuba so far (OW in Thailand this Xmas and AOW in Tegypt last month), got a spear gun for my birthday and haven't fired it yet.

Relocating back to my home town of Bournemouth sometime soon. You're right it is a hell of a drive but I get to see my family and mates too so it's not ALL about the diving, but I plan to bring my stuff with me each time now I've found some peops to teach me what to do.

Thanks for your help finding Bournemouth/Dorset/Wessex forums. I'll give them a shout when I have some dates for my next pilgrimage to the English Riviera.
