Hi all!
I started freediving a few month ago. I do not care so much about depth and record, but love the feeling and being in the water. Living in the Philippines helps :)

Last time, I was in Moalboal, and there were so many sardines along the line, it was brilliant!

Righ now, I am in Panglao and have yet to see the water. In a couple of month, I'll be heading to Coron.

Cheers!

You must have taken a course by Wolfgang? I'm in Davao and he was here this last week running a freediving contest :)

No, I took my introduction with Thomas from Pure Apnea, but he left. I met Wolfgang though. How is Davao? I heard it was super safe and super strict. How is the freediving there? Any other freedivers staying with you?

Davao...super safe? Yes. Super strict? Not so much. The Mayor here has his pet peeves and he cracks down on them. But it makes things better for all of us.

Davao has good places to dive, especially around Talicud Island. I'm very new to it though and our freediving this past week was more about depth and less about view.

I don't know of any freediving groups yet here in Davao. There are a few that have taken the class on it though.
