Hi everyone. So I am new and I have done my research, but I just cannot find the answer I am looking for and I am hoping that someone will help me out.

Here is the situation: New Riffe Gun... I want to mount the Riffe reel, but I am unsure on how I should run the line. Do I run the line through the line anchor then to the Mono without using the line release at the rear.....

or

Do I run the line from the reel to the mono and connect to the mono with a snap clip. How will the line release be use? Do I run the mono down the left side over the front line guide and shaft, down the ride side around the line release and then back up towards the line anchor around it and then connect to the reel?????????

Anyone have a picture that might help.......

I have looked through the boards and can not find the answer.....

Ill see if I can explain this easily for you.

The line from the reel will go through the line anchor and attach to your shooting line, which should be 2 wraps of mono or what ever you choose to use. Basically you want full range of your gun BEFORE any line is forced out of the reel. In Short, start from your shaft with the mono, then wrap around the muzzle, down around the line release, back to the anchor twice, on the third time to the line anchor (after the second wrap around the line release) the line should connect with your reel line, or bungee connected to your reel line at the line anchor on your muzzle.

Get it?:confused::confused::confused:

Blaiz is spot on but as you say it's hard to describe in words. So here's a simple picture. Blue is shooting line, usually heavy mono and red is reel plus line, usually braid or nylon weave. Some spearo's thread the reel line though a line guide on the front end of the gun but others swear by a straight off the reel approach as shown here.

Dave.
