I am new to this forum, and new to freediving. I have snorkeled all my life and dove down to look at things but never went past about 20-25 feet. I am also a scuba diver. I am looking to get into spearfishing very soon. I am moving to Okinawa after the first of the year and cannot wait. It is ilegal to use a speargun there but you can use a pole spear but you aren't allowed to use any kind of breathing device so freediving it is. I have been doing a lot of reading on this lately and figured I would register to say hi.
