Hi Guys,
I have been lurking for a while, and decided to come clean and sign up, I like the friendliness that the folks here display.
I am recreational freediver and a Scuba diver, (divemaster). work interferes far too much with my hobbies .
I must admit to enjoying freediving more than scuba diving, more fun and feeds the soul more. Last year my gf and me went to the Maldives on a diving trip, it was brilliant, would free dive early in the morning (gf was safety) and scuba dive late morning, this particular Island resort (Filitheyo) had unwittingly privided a great infrastructure for freediving, i.e, at the house reef dive entry an exit points they had nice thick ropes going from the surface to the bottom, 30 meters, this handy rope was great for doing the warm up pull-downs, it takes me a few pull downs to about 10 meters to get the dive reflex going and put my system on notice, after that its plain sailing and great fun down to 25 meters..
don't you just love the water......
