G'day everyone,

Been floating around the forums wasting a day, and I thought I'd say hello! My name's Nathan, I live in Narrabeen, Sydney Australia. I'm 30 years old and I am currently off work, recuperating from a bad mountainbike accident last November in which I almost lost my foot:naughty

Anyway, I went for my first dive since then about 3 weeks ago down Ulladulla way and I just remembered how much I love the ocean! So I am now looking into studying marine science at any uni that'll take me! It's something I have always thought about, but never really looked into. Funny how an accident and lots of time on your hands changes your perspective!

So, hello! And next time you see a bloke jumping off the rocks with a limp, at north narra, say hi!

Cheers!

Nathan:crutch

You're not talking about the blowhole at Warriewood are you? Went spearing there once, had to climb down a rope on the side of a cliff and nearly died getting into the water, before bailing out and having to climb the bloody rope again (never was very good with heights) :head

Welcome to the forum

Welcome, Nathan! Stick around and you'll learn a lot. We don't bite. Much.:D

Cheers for the welcomes! I'm just wating for the swell to die down so I can go and catch some crays for dinner!

Let us know how it goes:). The landlocked live vicariously through others:D.

Yet another day of too much sweel to check out all the holes where i look for lobsters... There has only been one day without swell in the last maybe four? weeks. And there's supposed to be another big swell due this arvo, tomorrow morning! Good time of year to look for crays, but the freezer is empty:head
