Newbie

Hey everyone,

I've been lurking for a while gleaning info and such. I figured I should probably join in on the fun. I am in the North SF Bay area (USA).

My first experience free diving was when I started ab diving at 10 years old and I have been hooked ever since. I am an experienced scuba diver, but since I moved back to California from Washington state, I can't stop free diving.There is something to be said about free diving. No crazy mechanical stuff to mess with, just hold your breath and go. I'm not a pro, but I can hunt at 40' like it's my job .

I spearfish, ab dive, and I am getting back into apnea based u/w photography (I "borrowed" the fiance's camera indefinitely).

I'm in the process of shifting my gear from scuba to free diving and developing my skills, so look forward to plenty of questions. Don't worry, I will use the search function.
