Hi everybody,

First of all, sorry for my english, and all the spelling mistakes I will do... I will try my best to be as understundable as possible...
I've just registered today and these are a few words to introduce myself. I m french, from Roscoff in Brittany and I am 36. I've been spearfishing a lot for more than 20 years, and i like to know other people with same interests. We are a group of friends usually spearfishing around 20m deep in northern Breton waters. I m merchant seaman so I nearly have 6 months of vacation per year, 2 months on board, 2 months off... free for diving!
The reason why I have registered in deeperblue is because I would like to have friends in many countries for spearfishing in good conditions, with smart safety first thinking fellows.

I am now working in Korea, but I will be back to France around beginning of october, for nearly 2 months.

If any of you is interested in spearfishing around my place, let me know. I have a rubber boat, and beds for friends...

Welcome to the forum Bob ! Your English is better than mine and I am English. I have spent many summers fishing your coastal waters and have been made to feel very welcome by the locals there. The fishing is much better in Brittany than in south Devon where I live. I will be back soon for a holiday of spearfishing and cycling in Brittany and I can't wait. Good food, great beaches and big fish !

That's cool if you like spearfishing in Brittany...
When are you planning to have your next stay in France? Are you arriving in Roscoff?
Anyway, let me know when you are coming, we'll try to arrange something if I'm not anywhere else for my job.

Probably looking at September time I hope. Staying in Foursnant. Ferry from Plymouth-Roscoff. Hopefully be fishing around the Concarneau and Beg Meil area. I'll message you nearer the time. It would be good to meet other spearo's
