Oh come on , let the poor thing go. If people want to see Whale Sharks they should learn to dive !

We are all up in arms!!!! :vangry

bloody atlantis, as if they are not making enough money. what about also those 28 dolphins that they bought from the WILD in the solomon islands and brought them to the UAE.

apparently the ones they bought for mexico all died?

vote with your passports ,dont go, i whent to the one in the bahamas full of rich idiots, these animals are best appreciated in their natural enviroment not wandering lonley around a tank like some funfare gold fish
it pisses me off

I'm sorry but all of you are so wrong. We have to take wild animals and force them into captivity to that people who want to act like they care about animals and appreciate nature can go and look at them. Otherwise these phonies may actually have to put on a wet suit and go into nature for real. What a hassle that would be!!!!!
I hope all the plankton necessary to feed the thing makes the tank so disgusting and cloudy that people complain and they just let it go.

A facebook group started 2 days ago, it now has about 1500 members and the complaints and protests are growing. People have written to international newspapers for the release of the whale shark, now named "Sammy".

Please voice your opinion, and if anyone knows of any environmentalist group that would like to make themselves heard, please let us know.

Feel free to email Gulf News as well with anything on Atlantis' pay out for the whale shark. (apparently it was a bounty ....)
