It is definitely very sobering to see someone with that much knowledge about free diving and breath hold pass way like that, he was definitely very aware of the do and don’ts yet he lost his life, the question the rings my head is how come it happen. It is too bad we don’t have a least a few of the major vendors working on that free divers vest.

My condolences to all friends and family. I also lost a friend early this year.
 
I was deeply shocked to learn of the tragic death of Dimitris.I first met him at Umberto Pelizzari's apnea academy.We spear fished in the Uk together when he came to the Uk to work fora while.He was a lovely bloke & will be sadly missed.
Rest in Peace mate.
