[News] Eric Fattah Achieves a Personal Goal and Sets New Canadian Record

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
i'll second that!
the amount i have learned from you Eric is mind blowing and its only a small part of you that we get to see!

i would be lining up for a copy of ANYTHING you write for my collection as well as personal growth, what ever limited help a guy from australia can give i'd be happy to give!

DD

Me too! I've read tons from Eric and to have it in a book would be great.

Eric has a veritable universe of awesome anecdotes that, in total, illustrate pretty much everything you'd ever need to know about freediving. I'd like to see some of those in print - the book would pretty much write itself!

Eric, I would like more pictures of the 'under-swimcap-google-eq' idea. Seriously though, those ideas, trials, experiments etc would make great reading. Some of those roads you have gone down, although not all with positive results, are an awe inspiring indication of you dedication and playfulness in this sport.

Get writing, I say.

Put me with DD. I'll buy anything you write about freediving.

Connor

Thanks for all the good wishes. At times I have considered trying to write everything I've done & learned down. However the prospect is often daunting because the book would be huge. Plus, there are still few conclusions. At best it would be an anecdotal look at what I tried, which worked, and what I tried, which didn't work. Even now if people ask what is the best training method, technique, or gear, there is no best answer. The only answer is that everything is always changing, advancing and evolving, and it is hard to stay on the cutting edge.

Rob King stated it perfectly at Vertical Blue 2010: for competitive freediving, it is not how good you are, but how fast you are getting better compared to everyone else.
