Whoa! This guy is like the total reason why this thing is even intersting. Anybody know what Martin is going for now?
 
Sven IS irresistible!

Hope Martin will share his plans later on. I sincerely hope it's a change that everyone is happy with within PFI.

Well, you may be right - as Sven reported Martin was not there, so Sven's irresistibility could not influence him. And I guess something was already brewing in that time.

Hmm, it is hard to believe they'd be happy to lose such an excelent freediver (unless they've got too many complaints about Martin's Czech accent and had to dump him for political reasons )

No specific info though about the reasons or future plans, just a quite symbolic photo showing Martin turning the back:

Lovely the sport of freediving is sooo huge that it has its on celebrity gossip.
Any more gossip out there that has totally nothing to do with the sport and the achievements ...Anyone, anyone?

Island Sands gossip is way more important and rewarding that speculating on Martin's decision. We'll probably never know the details and the gossip will be no doubt inaccurate and there will be five hundred different stories out there. I know Martin personally and Kirk and Mandy and many others who are a part of the PFI team but I'll respect their privacy.

If Martin or PFI feels the need to discuss this change, they will.

Now back to more important things... I think I look really good in the photo. I'm so happy my face is all illuminated... rofl rofl

I have read many favorable comments about Martin from people that felt very fortunate to have had him as an instructor. Of course I could have miss the unfavorable comments, but I never saw any.
 
Wow, this is a real kick in the teeth! I was really looking forward to seeing Martin (and Mandy and Kirk) again in Apr. in Grand Cayman. Now, it's not going to be quite the same. But I wish Martin the best in whatever he's pursuing. Anyone wanna buy a slightly used "Teach Yourself Czech" book? Somehow, I don't think I'll be needing it any more...
