Sounds interesting, but I wonder how it works. Is a base station (or several of them) on the surface needed, that then relay signals to the diver ultrasonically or in another way better suitable for the UW communication? If anyone of you who goes to DEMA, can get some info about it, I'd be glad to hear the details. The manufacturer's website tells nothing about it, except that it is an "affordable wrist-mounted" device. The "affordable" part would interest me too, becuase I cannot imagine well seeing such product quite cheap.
 
Even a GPS wouldn't help some of the muppets i've seen trying to find their way around underwater Trux :)

I've heard every excuse, one quite common one that a few divers agree on is a 'current' in a popular inland site i know.

B****x is what i say, they will just blame their sat nav now when they get lost.
What next? They will design an underwater scooter the shape of a sofa rofl
