The fact that nobody has commented should warn me off posting, but I feel compelled to say something...

I can understand why Stig's video was made amid the tension and camaraderie (and beer?) of the world championships, and the last thing I would like to do is to get between two world record holders. Maybe the French team were there when it was being made - who knows. I just think that posting something like on the internet will always be interpreted badly, and it's a shame because Guillaume's film is fantastic and innovative. Also, if you ever met him then he is anything but pretentious.

This is actually very funny to me and I think You guys are overreacting. Come on, can't You see it's a big joke, a PARODY of Guillime's video.

I can only imagine fun atmosphere in hotel during event like Worlds, guys had
a good time, Stig had idea so he grabbed his camera and jumped into pool making funny faces Nery like.

In YouTube thread I said that we should see more videos inspired by Freefall and I was right But (unlike "Defending the Vandenberg") Stig's video is not being promoted as original artistic creation and it clearly states "Inspired by Guilliame & Julie". Read the end credits and You can see he's friends with Julie - the camera girl.

I find it interesting that there seems to be about as much buzz about this video as about the whole of the TWC... one thing however struck me in the announcement:
