Destructive fishing practices

I believe that we need to get the regulators to take the (use of projectile) out of this Destructive fishing practices regulation, on the grounds that spearfishing is not an destructive fishing practices. you would think the agreement would easy to make. I believe that when EU regulators decided to prohibit the sale of speared fish it was to appease the commercial fishing industry not any conservation organizations. How the restriction of the sale of fish caught by projectile ended up the Technical Conservation Regulations in the first place is poor law making and it needs to be sort out. If you copy and past (Destructive fishing practices) into Google search engine you find no trace of spearfishing you can not say the same for trawling or netting. Back to top
